OMG, thats all I use on my rims! Works AMAZINGLY well. But it's took bad I rarely use it because I wipe my wheels down EVERYDAY with a microfiber towel. Why? It's simple, the less time brake dust sits on the rims the better, because what's actually in break dust can corrode your rims and paint if left untreated for too long. It'll cause that orange/brown discoloration around the corners of your rims,....wanna avoid it, clean'em often. I do. Everyday.

I use Mother's FX wheel cleaner for the break dust issue, then Smart wax wheel wax. I have the polished 20's, and XD's on my truck. This wheel cleaner is non abrasive.

The wheels on the 5th Gen. are similar in finish to those on the C6. I've detailed my brothers C6 numerous times, and each time I've added a coat of Zaino to the rims. While it won't prevent brake dust, it will make removal very easy, and protect the wheels from pitting. And it does not leave any "hazing".

Get a good coat of wax/polish on the rims and you'll be fine.

Can be bought at a lot of places, does an amazing job and it wont harm your wheel finish or your calipers.

This is what I use on client's cars that have wheels that cost more than my car lol. Best wheel cleaner out there. I've used this on SUPER delicate $20k wheels and it works great and perfectly safe too.

Or you could just replace the pads with Hawk Ceramic's and avoid 80-90% of the dust in the first place and enjoy all the time you save and go drive the damn thing!

Someone would make a bundle if they invented a product that would prevent the dust from sticking to your rims. I tried waxing the driver side, but after a week, no visible difference from the passenger side.
