Is there room for improvement? Sure there is. Does the average driver need the improvements? I highly doubt it.

GM did their best to make these cars very affordable for Joe Public. And I think they did a great job of it.

Worried about suspension and handling? There are aftermarkets out there a person can deal with to obtain the results they feel they desire or need.

This car is by no means a tank. I mean, it is what...300lbs heavier than the Mustang? That is not a lot. And remember, it is lighter than the Challenger.

But for GM to start making changes to suspension and such would be crazy. The price would go up. There would be warranties to worry about. And really...does Joe Public need tighter suspension to enjoy this car on the public roadways?
This.

GM provides you a canvas. You supply the paint and the talent to make a masterpiece. This way, not just the bloke with deep pockets can have an awesome car, but the average joe can enjoy himself too!

So, is it confirmed there will be no other changes, or will there be more updates released later? Fbodfather, Number3?

Haha, I can see that! I just mean, is this 100% it or is there "potential" for more changes to come for the 2011 model year?

But a Challenger being 300 lbs heavier than a Camaro makes it a pig...right, I'll remember that, after all...thats not alot.

The only people that know that are pretty high up at GM. They very well could make another announcement. We just have to wait and see.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, no one needs your logic in this thread. It's only for praise of the very boring updates. :(

Sweet! That means when the (#3 disclaimer: OR WILL IT?? ) Z/28 comes out, it will have HUD. I could really care less about a 2011, cause I have a 2010, but I am interested in some of the goodies that the Z version will inherit

We all just got an 8 hp increase

From Car and Driver. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car..._bump-car_news

"For 2011, Chevy will make up the power deficiency—on paper, at least—that was served by the latest 305-hp V-6 Mustang, which just so happened to beat the current Camaro V-6’s rating by a single horsepower. The 2011 Camaro V-6 will put down 312 hp at 6500 rpm (100 rpm later) and 278 lb-ft of torque at 5100 rpm (100 rpm earlier), the latter an increase of 5 lb-ft. The updated output numbers are not the result of any changes to the engine, though. Chevrolet says its original numbers were conservative and that these new ones are SAE-certified"

So it looks like all of us with V6's are really pushing 312 hp.

I wonder if we can get new docs with the new rating.
