Actually sold the BMW. A guy from Toronto bought it. He came down one weekend to look, paid cash and came back a week later to pick it up. Turns out it is realllyyyyyyy hard to bring a bike across the border.

So now I still have the Duc so I can still call my self a motorcyclist. Actuallly took it out for a ride last weekend. A 90 Degree V Twin with Carbon mufflers is one of the sweetest sounding things that runs on gasoline.

So I hope he is happy with his purchase and I know I am happy for the sale. Actually got the insurance check back today for the 9 months unused, which is always handy.

To give you some perspective....there are only TWO internal combustion transportation sounds that make my spine shiver: One is an American V8. The other is a Harley V-Twin...

I never aquired a taste for 'crotch-rockets' of any kind, so....

I am laughing..................................I'm just not quite sure why.

I am not sure I want to ever know what anything in a bear's mouth sounds like.

But now I am reminded of two bear jokes.

1 - if you are about to be attacked by a bear just reach behind you and grab a big steaming pile of s##t and throw it in the bears face.

Well how would I ever be able to find a pile of steaming s##t in the middle of the woods at exactly the point in time when a bear attacks.

Oh, don't worry............it will be there.

2- I don't have to outrun the bear.........................I just have to outrun you.

How about a sport cruiser?

I think that's about as close as they've come.
