I have a V6, I am wanting to try to just remove the resonators. A shop here in St. Louis has done it on several others and says it mays the V6 change from a lil cat to a lion. Question I have is will it sound more like a rice rocket? I have a neighbor that has a Chevy Cobalt but it sounds like a motorcycle and thats >not< what I'm looking for. More like a lower, throatier tone. Kind of like the SS sound without forking down the extra 20K! HA!

$20k??????

My 2SS cost me a little more that $5k for the same optioned 2LT. I initially was going to go for 2LT but when looking at getting the LS3, Tremec, and Brembo brakes the $5k seemed worth it to me.

Sorry....not trying to jack your thread and I'm not trying to turn this into another LT vs SS thread. I'm just trying to say that your $20k remark is a little stretched.

BTW: The V6 Camaro is a great car. I never even drove one but I defend it all the time even though I have an SS.

Here is the easiest way to make you V6 sound like a V8 for cheap
