Inexpensive aftermarket pedals?

Anyone try aftermarket pedals at wal-mart or an autopart store?

I think the pedals advertised on this site are way overpriced.

I've seen some pedals at Wal-mart for under $30.00.

I try not to shop at Wal Mart

I just bought a set of Lingenfelter pedals for 183.00 shipped.

I guess "overpriced" is relative because i thought what I paid was pretty fair.

The pedals on this site are also alot higher in terms of quality versus what you can get at wal-mart or autozone. You gotta pay to play

I got a set of MOMO pedals for $55.00. from searching the web.

Nice and wide.. Made of metal with non-skid rubber on them. I can heal and toe no problem now..!

cheapest upgrade I did yet! I would buy them again.

I haven't see the others, but the ones at walmart have tabs on the back that you have to place on the back and tighten to fit your pedals. Like tabs on the back of picture frames. They swing on a joint and have to be tightened in place. They come loose all the time....tried a kit from autozone on my 92 and nearly got in an accident after they loosened up on me. Not worth it at all.

WALMART?...

Any Kragen, Pepboys, AutoZone etc will have these, and real cheap. You don't change your own oil, do you?

I tried a set from AutoZone. Took them off after one day. The gas pedal looked bad and was too wide. I had to make a quick stop because of congested traffic and when I hit the brakes I also hit the edge of the gas pedal because it was so wide. So I came screeching to a halt with the engine wailing away at aobut 5K! Rather embarrassing plus scary!

I say save your money and stay away!

I and several others have put these on; just search 'pedals' in advanced > titles only

http://www.billetanything.com/search...efineBy_70=436

Spend a little more now, or a lot more later when you replace them.

I bought some Momo pedals on e-bay for $45.00 shipped. Looked real nice, but they are curved and Camaro pedals are flat. I tossed 'em. Bob
