You better be doing 5 under the limit when you go through Cullman county or through Town Creek, AL.

I was doing 10 under the last time I went through Town Creek and and as soon as I passed the city limits the a$$hole pulls out behind me and follows me all the way through to the other side of town, including a "pull off and wait" when I stopped to get gas.

Its complete and utter BS, but there's so much stuff thats illegal these days, if the police follow you long enough, they'll catch you doing something they can slap a fine on you for...

I was in the right lane, the slow lane, and i still got threatened with a ticket....so again, valid point, but doesn't really mean squat. They can get you for pretty much anything they want.
That depends on the town. Some don't care how slow a car is going unless it becomes a traffic hazard. However, I do get your point. It's the same point I've been jumping on for years. They enforce what they want, when they want. Hence why I'll be getting the lovely laser jammer/radar detector combo.

EVERYBODY SPEEDS!

You should only get a ticket if going 15 over. Anything under is BS. There is a difference between a person driving like a bat out of hell and a person who went 5 over. The law is out of control. And sorry, I don't want to hear that the cops have to do it. They can find another job. If you are a cop and you are writing tickets for 5 over the limit you are a jerk plain and simple. You have no defense.

Just because its a law does not make it right. You would be surprised how many BS laws are on the books. And yes, small town cops are even bigger jerks.

Just about whatever anyone does now will get themselves cited... The state can't controll their spending, pay too much out for people that don't belong here or are to lazy to pay their own way. So our loving governement in Sacramento wil do anything to create more revenue, ie: more citations.......
My suggestion is beat them at their own game, DON'T get caught!!!

Sorry i disagree with 15 over that puts people doing 90 on the highway that is dangerous even the best drivers make mistakes and @ 90 it is hard to recover. There are speed limits for a reason if you want to go faster then take what happen when it happens and smile. Sorry thats my opinion.

Holy balls, lucky, where do you live with a speed limit of 75?!?! It's 60 here, and that's only the interstates!

A cop at the driving school I had to attend to get out of a ticket years ago addressed this comment. He said you'd be suprised how many criminals are caught for driving offenses. He said you'd think that they'd drive more carefully if they had offenses or were wanted by the law, but that wasn't the case. He said they can't avoid the habitual behavior.

I don't know how you were able to get out of two tickets in a row.

Hey I resent that remark! lol. I love 'Misery'...

I've never gotten out of a ticket. I am having them fixed. the difference is, I pay more to turn it into a no points violation.

But I didn't get out of anything. I've never gotten out of a single ticket, big or small...
