Definitely... huge. It's a 100 treadwear compared to 220 on the Pirelli's. Set the PSI at 20, get em really hot, and launch baby! It becomes the difference between spinning and sticking off the line. In terms of what I stall too, I use my sense of feel more than watching the RPM's. At the point of staging my eyes do no leave the tree - left foot on brake, right foot on gas but not pressing until the first/second yellow light switch... then it's right foot on the gas until I feel the butt of the car sink in... then it's a go on the second yellow/green switch.... that whole thing happens in an instant, so I cannot tell you what RPM I launch too, but if asked to guess, I'd say maybe 2k tops... maybe not even that, it's just a feeling.

I had a great air day and they are just getting warmer now, and I will be buying no more mods other than my blower by the end of the summer, provided I have the funds for it by then. So your record is safe from me, for sure. Hopefully you can breathe a little easier..

I can`t think of a nicer person to lose it too! I hope you keep it for good.
Thanks for the kind words, GM. With all the cars on the road starting to get tweaked, and coming with better tunes from the factory btw, I am sure the top spot victory will be short lived... won't bother me at all to see you take it back either. Although, I think there's some room for improvement on my part with the current setup as is.

Use that image link and add the image to your post. Need to have the slip to be included.

Also, everyone, this thread has just been updated to be the "Official 1/8 Mile 2010-11 Camaro Fast List" and it's no longer limited to L99's. Enjoy the new found competition!

Can v6s play too? If so, I'll get my slips scanned in, lol....with intake, tune/headers, factory wheels/tires, I've hit 9.129 @ 80.64mph and 9.126 @ 81. 22 mph.

We don't have a v6 1/8th mile thread...:(

You bet! You'll be up against the V8's in the same class but good numbers are good numbers.
