I am not against a West Coast event. It maybe good for Chevrolet, GM and Camaro sales. The LX community holds a huge event each spring in California. They draw a huge crowd. Chrysler provided substantial support prior to the economic crisis and really helped build it. They draw across the country. I think they are about 70% West Coast and 30% East of the Mississippi for attendance.

Speaking of attendance, I expect to see a larger C5fest with another 80 to 100,000 additional Camaros on the road Especially those California Convertibles

You need to be taking a cross-country cruise in a THR vehicle...

If not, you have some great experience driving Thor...

I thought I would be. My flight was canceled due to 'technical difficulty'. I know, I know. I should have Camarovanned down with the guys from GM and Michigan. I do promise to plan better and attend C5Fest next year.

That sounds like a Hot Rod Power Tour style parking lot. There was a joint http://www.poci.org/ and http://www.gtoaa.org/ meet last year. Attendance was down a bit due to the economy. They had maybe a 1,000 cars. The GTOAA meet pull about 400. I started in all this with Pontiac. I love that Arrowhead group. They are a passionate bunch. The Camaro owners are even more passionate. Is it possible? With the raving fanatical group that own 5th Gens my guess is that ANYTHING is possible.

I think we should keep it in SGMP. Doesnt matter if its in Alaska, we'll be there. The folks on West coast could just move out East. Problem solved.
