C.A.I.

Sorry for being impatient. I have had the worst year since my birth. From getting fired to my Dad's death 3 weeks ago. I am having a REAL hard time wanting to stay alive.

I AM SORRY. GOD BLESS.

I ordered from Janetty and there is a 2 week backorder. It just comes down to waiting patiently for a quality product. In the past when I was younger I could never do that and would "settle" for something instead due to the need for instant gratification. You'll be getting yours a lot earlier than me so let me know how you like it

Great, this was one thing I was worried about in the GA heat/humidity. Have you tried driving it hard on a hot/humid day yet? Hottest it's been here so far is mid 80's which isn't much compared to the mid-high 90 degree days coming :(

yeah the best thing to do before ordering is calling to see if they have them is stock, also shop around there's some vendors that have good specials going around. Also if your planing on getting headers, a cold air intake is going to help, other wise I would not spend 400+ dollars for just 10hp.

These are the Ram Air Hood.....
I'm wondering how much air will actually be ram in to the intake, usually the ram air effect produce while going at least 40mph. have you noticed the car pulling harder.

The name is a little misleading. There is no real "Ram Air" created by using this hood. The benefit of this hood aside from it's bad a$$ looks is it gets cooler air over to the air box. Cooler air is denser air. Denser air can mix with more fuel. More fuel and air = more HP. There are different camps when it comes to the subject of Ram Air Effect. Even if you ran a tube from the throttle body straight out the front of your grill and had a cone on the end to catch all the air you could, seriously beneficial ram air effects wouldn't be measurable till well over 100mph from what I understand. I believe it works out to about 1% of pressure increase at 100mph. Anyone with knowledge on this subject feel free to educate.

I believe our jet pilot on here stated Ram air is achieved at 300+ mph, and not attainable obviously in cars.

It is always darkest before the dawn. Buddhists say all life is suffering, but then again they probably never drove a Camaro. Hang in there.

Just ordered mine from Janetty and look forward to installing my first mod.
