So this Mustang had 3.73 gears? Might want edit your post, Unfair. I know how you hate misinformation being spread.

EDIT: You know who I feel the worst for? The Challenger R/T. It's apparently so far behind they stopped comparing it, but hopefully they make some changes to it soon because it could easily be the best, I think.

According to the fastest timeslip post some SS's have run 12.5's stock, so you might have a 1 in 50,000 shot of getting a GT to run sub 12.7 stock.

Why dont you reread the message that you quoted and so conveniently left the rest of out. They tested a second Mustang and those are the numbers they got so this is from two different magazines. Both beating the Camaro and then if we really want to get into it they also have a couple of videos of a auto Mustang vs a auto Camaro and the Camaro was absolutely demolished.

I love that Ford gives the option that if you want a little more performance, care about performance numbers, and want the best pony car available on the market, then you can option the car that way. 13.2 is ridiculous when the mustang weighs 400lbs less than the camaros!! the camaros are almost 4000lbs to mustangs 3600! I got a 12.82 out of my camaro ALMOST stock with only borla mufflers!!!

ONE camaro has run a 12.58. 1 in 50,000 chance of a getting a car with a better power to weight ratio to run a faster time?

these threads are wearing me out. god i'll be glad when they hit the streets and youtube vids of kill on both sides.

one guy will beat a camaro, and suddenly stang can never lose. then a camaro will whomp a stang and the stang guys will be upset. cuz the camaro can never lose.


everyone in here who races will feel the agony of defeat at the hands of either the 2011gt or the SS. at least those of US who own them.

you SS boys and us 2011 GT owners get to enjoy the stress of losing. and the jaw jacking afterwards. live by the sword, die by the sword.

All Mustang guys can pull out is this power to weight ratio like that is the only factor in racing. Remember back in the late 90's when the Camaro and Mustang had nearly identical P to W and the Mustang still got its ass handed to it???? No you probably don't , Mustang guys have selective memories
