Tell me how bad I messed up...
So I made a bonehead mistake today while washing my car. I finished the wash and was about to dry. I always mist my car with Adam's detail spray before toweling it off. Well today, I wasn't paying attention and grabbed the Green Wheel Cleaner... sprayed the whole car down before I realized it. :(
I went back and rinsed the car off immediately as best I could and I can't SEE any damage, but is it possible that I did damage my clear coat doing this? I'm so mad at myself for being so careless, but I'll feel a little better if I find out that my paint will be ok. |

It should be fine imo. The Green Wheel Cleaner is safe on clear coat so there shouldn't be any damage but you may have to rewax the car.

Give it a good washing and put a new coat of Wax on it.

i'm pretty sure you took all of the wax off.i would put a coat of polish on it,followed by a good coat of wax.

Your fine... GWC may have stripped the wax though, I would certainly recommend a fresh coat of wax. You didn't do any damage to the paint though..

Dude, I wish MY screw ups were as mild. lol
I agree with the others. I used to clean my WHOLE car with that stuff way back when I had a Suzuki Sidekick. Never messed it up. I obviously know better now but you'll be fine.

Pink vs. clear?! Lol, like everyone else said, just make sure you put on another layer of sealant.
