AFM

You turned off the AFM with the cat back? No resonator? I still have the resonator and was wondering how it sounded with X-pipe and AFM on. Not really looking to get a tune yet.

Nice system

I received by Cherry Bomb Extreme axle-back system yesterday. It arrived very well packaged (drop-shipped from Cherry Bomb)! Very nice looking system. I will be installing it this weekend. Big thanks to Exhausted and www.performanceexhaustplus.com for the great price.

Part # Description List Price Selling Price SPECIAL Price for you
16480 Axle-back $1065.67 $ 823.47 $600.00
16481 Cat-back $1731.72 $1338.15 $885.00
16482 Cat-back $1466.74 $1133.39 $785.00

16481 is the Street Series and 16482 is the Competition Series with the most aggressive sound. If you have interest in one of these just PM me so I can change the selling price for you.

Hope this helps.

For the money I think the Cherry Bomb is going to be a great option. Somone needs to get some drive by and in cabin video posted.

As far as the Magnaflow systems.....those are very nice prices but believe it or not you can shave even more off those prices if you talk to MagnaflowPlus.com and let them know you're a Camaro5 member....and I don't mean $5 or $10. I haven't seen anyone come close to their prices yet.....although this is probably as close as I've seen.

Still.....for $400 it looks like the Cherry Bomb is going to be hard to beat for a complete turn-key cat-back system.

Installed mine tonight L99 catback, it took about 2.5 hours by myself. Having a extra jack or two will help with the assembly, for the joins you can jack up the end on the car makes it much simpler. The rubber holders above the muffler were a hassle, same thing though jack up the muffler until you hit the sweet spot where they pull off more easily. The sound is amazing, very deep and clean. I've hear corsa and magna flow in person this sounds better hands down. I put my cruise control on at 55 MPH, AFM came on you could hear it but again the exhaust note is much deeper now so it's not as invasive as it was with the resonator on. Radio up to 8 and you could no longer hear it. I'm very pleased. Now I need to figure out what to do with my stock exhaust, it's huge and heavy.

No resonator. The x-pipe does the job. Sounds great.

I am going to order the Extreme axle back and leave the resonator on. I also do not want to turn off the AFM. Hopefully with the resonator still on there will be no drone and I will still get a nice deep sound from the mufflers.

Post some sound clips up if you can. Would like to hear the difference between the full cat-back vs. axle-back.

It has come to my attention that the link to the Cherry Bomb Extreme Axle-back system shows the orignial selling price of $405.44. The following link takes you to the area where the price is $300. for all Camaro5.com members. This includes FREE shipping. Click here - http://www.performanceexhaustplus.co..._category.html

Whitehorse, thank you for your recent order!

Hi Jim,

What do you figure the shipping would be to Northern Alberta, Canada.

Fort McMurray, Alberta to be exact.
