2011 HUD configuration

Any Corvette owners have a guess as to where the configuration for the HUD will be (on/off, what is shown, where its positioned, etc) ?

Will it be part of the personalization configuration in the radio , or maybe another interface like the DIC ?

It will have it's own controls. As to where these controls will be located, on the dash next to the key switch there is a blank spot. The best guess at this time is that is what the spot was designed to be used for.

In the pic below, the area I'm talking about is where the SS/RS plate is.

This is accurate, many saw exactly this on the '11 at C5Fest...

This is a picture I took at the Fest of the HUD controls on the 2011 car Chevy brought.

You can adjust the height of the display on the windshield with the left toggle switch, choose different display versions with the button in the knob, and dim or totally turn off the display by rotating the knob.

They could still use it, it's just the 2LT and 2SS trims that can't.

On the corvette, you can move the image up or down, left or right[a little],and select from the menu what you want displayed.I found it distracting at first, then you don't even know it's there, until you want something from it.

:( Unfortunately, the modifications and cost invested in the car to install if for just one limited run model sorta makes the change "impossible". Maybe next generation!
