As long as it is painted the same color as the body, I don't care if it's on the roof.

Hood ornaments are so retro, I'm sure they'll place it there.

So if you use the UEO delete code, will the am/fm work without the sharkfin? Is the sharkfin for the satellite radio as well as the onstar? Could somebody please clarify this.. Thanks.

Actually the Shark Fin antenna will be placed on the center of the trunk for the Convertible. Here I just found a picture, complete with ugly horse whip antenna:

The AM/FM radio antenna is in the rear glass of the Camaro Coupe, and the convertible sadly has a horse whip antenna. The Shark Fin is only for On Star and Satellite radio.

I'm wondering whether this code will get you a Camaro without the sharkfin and hole in the roof or whether it will still have the sharkfin and hole but the "guts" of the system removed? For example, on the new Taurus, you can delete the sat antenna, but you still have the hole in the roof and the cover. The hole is punched in the sheet metal for every Taurus regardless of whether the sat radio option is requested.

Good question, other GM models do not have a hole in the roof with RPO UE0, they look better without IMO. The fin will just fade from the sun, be in the way when washing and waxing, possibly leak water into the car from a hole in the roof when the gasket fails.

My hhr panel has the radio antenna stuck right in the middle at the top of the windshield and the shark fin directly back in the middle of roof above the rear hatch door. i am trying to post picture not doing so well.

I cant believe how cluttered that rear looks, whip antenna, fin, third brake
light, and spoiler all on or next to the trunklid. It looks like a police car.

All it needs is a CB and ham radio antennas on there and it can communicate with anything.

Why don't you just send them a couple hundred a month maybe they can afford ordering in lunch for a couple of guys.

Thats a ridiculous comment. Maybe one day Unicef will get in the car business....

And I thought selling cars is the way GM planned to make money, maybe their plan has been to make money off the Onstar service?
