Gone Solo, Good bye trash cans !

Well I finally pulled the trigger on the Solo Mach cat back after many hours of listening to you tube videos and a few drives to listen live. I have heard a lot of good things about the Solo exhausts I guess I would like to hear from the other side, the people that didn't like it and why ?

I think im going to go with solo too, i agree it sounds the best. But Ive already done a ton of stuff to my Car this year, so i'm gonna hold off on the Solo Mach XLT for a little while. Installed the K&N Aircharger and it changed the sound quite a bit (while in gear, on the gas), and i'm quite satisfied with the sound at the moment.

I have the Mach XL for the manual. It really sounds awesome, but for me, cruising at 2-3000 is where it's a little loud for me in the cabin.

I've ordered resonators from Solo to help quite it down a bit. I'll post after I get them installed next week.

This is why I waited to buy the solo, I heard an auto6 that had the slight drone you are talking about. This made me go listen to a M6 live and guess what, No done ????? like you I am going to do this then supplement it with some small resonators if I have too.
I just had to get rid of the trash cans !
I'll be looking forward to your post. Are you getting the resonators from Solo ?

I ordered the K&N Typhoon, be here tomorrow!!! Far as exhaust goes, ilistened to many, but at this time, im not gnna do anything, iv had nothing but v8 trucks till now, last bing a 05 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 HEMI, it had an AFE intake and Borla exhaust, best sounding truck ive heard. I know this car isnt gonna sound anything comparded to what im used to, so why bother..I went through like 3-4 mufflers on the truck before i got the Borla. Not gonna do that on this car. I did hear a clip of the solo on youtube, Did sound pretty good.

Yes, from Solo. They're the same ones that come on the XLT version for the automatic cars. Should receive by Wed and will try to get them on by Friday.

The manual system SOLO makes is very quite on the highway. I think the AFM is the tricky part, but I have heard nothing but positive about SOLO on here. Exhaust is tricky. I had one person say it was too quite for them, and one member in here saying too loud.

Exhaust is like food, everyone has a different taste. To me SOLO is right in the middle, with a perfect tone and volume.

I like the idea that there is nothing but straight pipe from the X back. If I have to I'll put in a set of resonators I can do that ! Can't wait till Wednesday
