And you can drive it like a rental and not have to worry about how much rubber you just took off your tires

well see thats why I didnt come, Washington state is to far from Georgia, we have a huge camaro group on the west coast as well. getting tired of people not waiting to do an event on the west coast because its to far. instead of not having the money to do it due to lost of job or poor job.

people come all over the USA & canada to come to Hot august nights. taking 2weeks off.

A central location might seem "fair", but in reality, you'd probably lose more people that way, than you would by picking east or west. That's just IMO.

Not just the east coast.

Just sayin

If they did an event every couple months I tthink everyone would have to do this full time. Not a good thing these promoters would have to quit workingt o do this full time with little if any pay.

what makes sense is for every year they did a diff location, working with the people in that area to set up the event. Of course also working closely with guys like Fbodfather, & the other GM crew to make sure cars & other events get taken care of.

you guys on the east coast already had one, let next year be someplace else. & then hit every area.

that way everyone can make a show, not because they dont want to take the two weeks off to drive to a location but that way they can afford to go 7 have fun.

You bet. Walked right up to the Avis counter in Orlando with my Helmet Bag and Pack. 18 passes down the 1/4 foot to the firewall. Drove it for 4 days like I stole it.

yes!! i agree with Iroczlover!!! there should deff be a switch between either coast!! i think that would be very fair!!

personally i cant think of anything more unfair then just having it i one spot all the time so the same huge group of people can go EVERY time...

i mean right?! can someone argue this and tell me how that could ever be fair? (if it were in one place every time)

Not just east coast/ west coast but diff location like midwest & central.

having a 4yr rotation will work.
may it be at the same location, vegas next year, then again in 4yrs or vegas next year & then in 4yrs have it in Calif.

I second that. I went the 1st time just cause. If it stays on the East Coast. Then it should be re-named East Coast C5 Fest cause that's what it is. There is a whole world out there west of the east coast. Probably get flamed for speaking my mind as I started the thread.

the way it should be

Nothing like abusing a rental I remember a guy who rented a motorcycle at an event I went too we all toasted the rear tire off down to the cords and when he took it back they said WTF there only 1000 miles on that. We all laughed and said here its yours handed em the keys. Rentals got to love em
