Based on what is above I would say this is Paramounts doing based on things they liked from the SEMA show -- and used GM to help them make a "one off" of the car and I wouldn't be surprised if GM is gauging interest on certain pieces based on the movie - but seriously...

Instead of testing a whole car in a movie (because they've already shown 'bee to have the "Z/28 Configuration" in the second TF movie...), why not test out parts that they are going to offer from their GM Performance Parts division for customers to "personalize" their cars with?

Ever think of that? Quit jumping to conclusions. When GM wants us to know what the Z/28 looks like they will let us know. Until then, at the risk of pissing everyone off (cause I'm tired of people pickin on my friend.).

Every single one of you who thinks that having a spoiler is rice then all you do is fall under the typical sterio type

By every one of you claiming the spoiler is rice. By your logic every single race car in the world is now rice. A spolier might be considered Rice if its on a FWD because it isn't helping the drive wheels with downforce.

And for all you Americans who cherrish your stupid sport that spends 500 miles going in circles. Those cars had a spoiler on them as well so i guess according to you there rice as well

Not to mention calling something rice on an import is borderline Racism. but hey you cant fix stupid

I think we're far from seeing this being anything like Fast and Furious. So far all the Autobot cars have been American. Only 1 Decepticon car has been an import, but it was classy high dollar one. Plus it has never had anything to do with street racing or drug trafficking. And I would say that the acting, while not Oscar worthy, is a few steps above what you see in the Fast and Furious series.

So they're updating Bumblebee to be more modern with a functional spoiler, side vents, and next generation hood. They have to keep it fresh to keep people interested. Nobody has dissed the Camaros from Sema this much and some of those had even more modifications done. Its a Camaro for crying out loud. Be thankful he's not a VW Bug like he originally was in the animated series.

Edit: And on a side note, look at how much interest these movies has brought in for GM. I know there were a lot of sales last year solely based on the fact that Bumblebee was a Camaro.

the definition of rice is a racing style spoiler/etc. that isn't on a race car.

What is the "typical sterio type?" And racism? You're reaching for straws. To me it sounds a lot better than saying something like "looks like ass." It's just a term, don't get butthurt over it.

We could argue those points all day, but the thing that riles me up about your post is your attitude. It's one thing to harp on a car and how it looks or even defend how it looks. It's another to blanket flame the folks participating in the discussion. You shouldn't be bashing the membership here because their viewpoints about what's rice and what's not differ than yours. When one resorts to personal attacks, that means they've run out of valid points and ideas to argue.

So far, you've not proven your arguement as anywhere close to being valid.
