i see alot of people saying they like it cos it lets light in....i havent test drove one with a sunroof so i have a question....is there like a cover that you pull back to open the roof that blocks sunlight or is it just basically like you can reach up and touch the glass of the roof, at all times?

NO - IMHO

They take away from the look of the Camaro. If you want sun wait for the 2011 convertable. I had T-Tops on my 95, and I am really happy to have a hard top 2010!

I want a ragtop too! But, if I was going to buy a non-convertible, it would have the sunroof. I live in one of the coldest cities in the world, and I use mine all the time.

Sunroof!...........But, I'm bias. Hell I live in WA and use the sunroof all the time. Even though the sun is not out most of the time. So if your're in FL why not?

It seems that you love sunroof over there in WA. Frist pic is for all stats.

There is a sliding fabric cover to close the opening. I've only closed mine once or twice when the sun was directly in my eyes.

I like the look of the COUPE, with the MOHAWK look. No sun in my eyes, more headroom, no cost.

I bought my camaro for creature comforts so i went all in and a got a sunroof car. I use it every day its nice out. Those old school die hards saying muscle cars dont have sunroofs etc actually they did have that option back in the day if i remember correctly. I think of my ride as a pony, sports car that i have fun getting to work in.

I did not want to mess up the roof line with a sunroof. I like the ditch on the camaro. Not to mention the increased headroom with no sunroof.

To each his own though. Glad you enjoy yours.

Sunroof was one of my must-have options, didn't even look at any that didn't have it.

Not sure why people keep talking about less headroom...I am 6'3 and have plenty of headroom so unless we have a bunch of NBA players on this forum...

Purists say you cannot have a sunroof...then again, I also have a V6 and an automatic, so I'm already an outcast.

I'm 5'11" and more torso than leg.. I really wanted the Sunroof - however - I had to drive laying down to do it. I went without.

If you are not sure - drive both. I felt my neck getting stiff with the sunroof because of the 1/2" clearance.

Depends on if you have long legs or torso. I'm about 6'3" and fit fine with the sunroof.
