Thank you, Jeff! I appreciate it. And yes, I will definitely stop by when I'm in Vegas next, which should be within the next month or two.
Thank you for all of your advice and insight. I can't wait to see the black and polished kit that you are installing. That should be sweet. |

Man I love this kit. Congrats man. I'm very jealous. I'll have to keep my eye's open for your ride while I'm lurking in the desert from now on.

Thank you. I'm enjoying it for sure. Took it out for a long spin tonight and it's definitely fun to drive.
Have you checked out that black and polished K/B kit that Jeff from TPE installed on Stealth's Camaro? I think that is definitely the best looking color combo for these kits. But they all look nice. |

Kenne Bell website has the L99 canned tune 7 psi boost at 517 hp Kenne Bell test 425HP Camaro with manual trans and 100% stock engine. No headers, exhaust, heads, cams etc. only the KB Kit, 18 deg. spark. 11.5 AFR. Automatic trans L99 makes 33 less HP. Last edited by u812; 05-16-2010 at 11:20 AM. Reason: image |

I was told that the K/B canned tune with the base pulley that it comes with makes between 8-9 psi. Mine is making between 7-8 psi. The K/B canned tune may have slightly higher degree of timing than mine. I don't know that for sure though. Would have to ask Adam about that. Adam did tell me that increasing timing definitely increases torque. I do know that my AFR is more rich than the K/B canned tune. And leaner engines make a bit more power. I also noticed that if you scroll down on their site, they also say that the L99 makes 45 rwhp less than the LS3. I read that before I even bought my kit and I couldn't understand which number was the correct one: 33 or 45 rwhp less -- or maybe they both apply but for different runs or different setups. Anyway, there aren't too many L99's running around with blowers, in comparison to the amount of LS3 cars that are out there. On 8 psi, L99's seem to make high 400's and maybe, maybe break 500 rwhp on a good day, with exhaust, and probably headers. Plus, my tune isn't very aggressive. And I'm happy about that. I'm sure we could squeeze another 15 rwhp out of my car on a cool weather day by increasing timing. Adam said that torque would go up if he did that. Hope this answer helps. |

Adam at ST Motorsports knows his stuff. If he's confident in the tune in terms of engine longevity and, most-importantly, the customer is happy, then that's all that should matter, really. |

Thank you. And that's true. But in reality, saving tire money just means freeing up some funds to make my car faster, which of course means I am saving money to lose tire money down the road... If that makes sense. haha

i was gonna try and run my car in a week and see what kind of time it would do, but i have come to the realization that without drs its a total waste of time...i,m gonna try out lowering my tire pressure this week around the hood and do some hole shots just to see if i can hook up @ all with these stock tires...even though you have less tq and hp ,you would def have more bite out the hole with auto , and without a really good launch from a m6 ls3 the odds could be on your side...just don,t f**k with us in a roll, right gary
