My dealer quoted me 1000 to have leather put in. Is that pretty much what everybody else is hearing? Anybody ever have it done? How is the quality?

I am always a little skeptical on getting my seats re-done. I have seen a few that have been utterly horrible. I would just love it if GM made it an option so it was covered by the warrenty.

I will be having my cloth seats redone in leather. I HATE the fact that the only colors offered is Black, Tan or Gray...... Is GM color blind?

Meeeeeeee tooooo.....I REALLY don't want the hassle of getting the seats in leather from someone else. It just seems somewhat silly that the 2SS has leather, but not the 1SS...my hopes are still high, and I'm pushing to have this added!!!

This is my situation too. I can't stand leather seats here in Florida, but I really like the extra on the 2SS. I will probably end up getting the 1SS with stereo, gauges and the connectivity package if they offer it.

If there is anyway I could help you "push" this to have it added I would love to help in some way. For 30k, it's just silly not to be an option. I don't care about the radio or suc things, I just want leather seats. If I wanted a sound track, I will use the power windows!

Make it happen! Does anyone know who I can press to get this option added?

I want to be able to subtract the cost of the leather seats from the 2SS package... That should be an option as well...

This is not true of the SS's.. Both 1SS and 2SS will have the same suspension.. The only differences are interior beatifications and unnecessities.

Although this would be a good idea, I don't think GM would be willing to make it capable to TAKE something off their highest optioned Camaro.

But heres a bump for GM's eyes to see. Again everyone, please vote and help those of us out who would like this option. And to those that have, thank you for your support.

I would prefer hi-end cloth in the 2SS

+1 on that. I dislike leather, but I'll be forced to sit on it because I want the other options that the 2SS offers.
