Wow, huge difference in tone. 100% better and much better than I was expecting.

Also looks 100% better with those trash cans under the diffuser gone.

Not sure how deep you want it to sound, but the Magnaflows sound pretty deep, especially compared to stock.

I think I'm gonna purchase #16580-Stainless Cat back Performance System.
Do you recall which part number you went with...???

Do you have a V8? If not, the 16583 is the V6 cat-back and the 16584 is the axle-back

It is a great system. Mine is a Cat back also and I have had no problems with mine. I think there are more times when the radio is off and I just listen to the engine as I run through the gears.

Had to do one slight adjustment with mine since the install to get rid of a slight rattle on hard bumps, but that is gone now.

It's a well made premium product and with the Camaro5 Vendors willing to deal on them, I thought it was money well spent.

Hey Dad - try an advanced search (top right on tool bar) on "magnaflow" somebody might have posted video and sound. When I get a little more time I'll look around as well. But, I think its one you are looking for. Welcome to the site

I just put on the Doug Thorley shorty headers and a CAI (Injen) and that gave my car a nice deep throaty sound. I had my Chevy dealership do the install (they also installed my cat-back) so no worries about warranty issues. Good luck finding what you are looking!

P.S. There are videos of my car on a dyno in the "Your Dyno Numbers" thread in this section if you are curious about the sound.
