Car is an Auto no leakage or seepage. Smell is from the outside not inside.
All animals and dead bodies have been removed. Smell is still there. |

LOL, sorry, I know this doesn't in anyway contribute to the thread or give you answer but that's one of the best smell descriptions I have ever heard of
 .I have no idea what a Lionel train smells like but I do wish you the best of luck in finding out what the smell is  .

Mine did the same thing, I think it might be something in the exhaust system breaking in. It went away after a few weeks of driving.

Sounds like the new car break in smell. It's not too pleasant...but it's all the materials under the car heating up and "breaking in" so to speak... all new cars do it.

I attributed it to the exhaust breaking in also with the manufacturing lubricants etc. heating up and burning off...

I have this strange smell on the outside after driving it. Mine has 890miles. So yes perhaps its the break-in smell.

Everytime i use the windshield wipers and fluid i have to hold my breath. There is a nasty smell!
