Burning smell

my camaro got about 125 miles on it. since I brought it home i noticed a constant burning smell. i have had a new car before but i never smelled this before. its not the clutch cause I know that smell from my gf learning on her car lol. Juts curious if anyone else is getting the same smell.

it's just all the new stuff, like the exhaust.

125 miles was about the limit of when the smell of freshly heated parts in my new Camaro stopped. I think it was mostly exhaust related parts and probably catalytic converters.

Don't know what it is but last Saturday, I got in the car, started it up and cranked the heat full hot, I got a whiff of something like burned plastic, backed it off and no hint of the smell again.

There is like a protective oil coating on some stuff so it stays nice and shiney before you get the car. It eventually gets burned off as you drive.

It's just the smell of new being burned off. Don't worry about it.
