This makes no sense. To stay on topic on this subforum, I have to not mention the Camaro. Any mention of the Camaro or it versus another car is more suitable in another subforum. This subforum is not Camaro oriented. It exists solely to give opinions on every other car on Earth except the Camaro.

The date and time at the track is blocked out by the BIG HONKIN TROPHY! Sure would like to see what the weather conditions were. The 1.91 60 ft is getting with it! That ties my best ever.

2011 Mustang GT: Actual Weight Just weighed my 2011 Mustang GT Base (300A) w/ Manual 6-Speed. Only Option is 3.55 Gears. This is not a Spoiler Delete Car. Dry Shipping Weight (MSO): 3461 lb Curb Weight - Light (3 gal of Fuel): 3520 lb Weight Distr: 1920 lb (54.5%) F / 1600 lb (45.5%) R Curb Weight - Full (16 gal of Fuel): 3600 lb Weight Distr: 1940 lb (53.9%) F / 1660 lb (46.1%) R That was on a Certified Scale that weighs individual axles and total seperately. Should be accurate +/- 10 lb.

There is now a sticky in the "other vehicles" sub-forum for this topic. If you have any new info please post it there so we can reduce the clutter and I can update it.

This is a trollish post. We all know the Mustang is a great competitor this year, but people got annoyed with posts about how the SS was going to get destroyed. It certainly doesn't look like it's getting destroyed with similar times run with a similar 60'. I am sure a great driver will nudge the time up a tenth but I wouldn't call that destroying the SS by any means.

even knowing the day makes it difficult for the DA. wide swings happen. time and day can nail it down exactly.

They are, by definition, trolls. The subforums Camaro vs. and general automotive are places where Camaro owners/car enthusiasts can talk about other cars too, in a way that doesn't muck up the other subforums devoted to other topics. Capiche? |

Just a bit of clarification:
This happens every few months. A few posters come through and only have negative things to say about the Camaro while trying to show how much superior their car is. There is room, in my opinion, for people who don't want to own a Camaro and prefer some other car, but they have to post tastefully (Sax1031 is an example) while people like Unfair are rude and offensive in every post and each post is an intentional shot at the Camaro. I think it's fine if the Camaro isn't your cup of tea, but don't join a Camaro forum to tell them how much their car sucks. |
