Nuclear power really isn't that bad lol. The amount of fuel left over for the amount of power left is damn good. People think there is like this 1000ft tall mountain of glowing waste some place. Also a few idea out there now might even show a way to take the waste and use it for power.

just hint of advice.. even "eco-friendly" or "green" or "hybrids" are just toxic to the enviroment.. research their motors too.. you'll see.. i guess anyone who drives cars are bad people to the enviroment?

Go live in the forest or something. That's the only way you'll live a green life.

Don't get mad at me, I'm agreeing with almost everything you say. Please allow me to repeat:

- My basic point is: I don't like my Camaro because of the gas and oil it eats up, and Electric Cars should be our future. I have nothing much else to say beyond these points.

- Yes, we need oil, and oil is in everything. Oil is used to make batteries too. I get it. We (the world and all its factories and products) depend on oil. Our CARS however, our INDIVIDUAL CARS, need not be 100% oil based for power. See where I'm going wit this?

- I didn't say the Sun does not affect our climate. I was commenting on someone else who said Sun Spots warm the planet. This is debatable.

Sounds like the OP already had lots of hate inside already and is spreading it around like fertilizer! Please take your hate somewhere else, we don't need it here.

To the OP: Now you say that you don't like the Camaro, however you started out HATING it. My how things change.

A few more threads like this will kill my desire to check out Camaro5 everyday.

This just makes me want to go jump into my ole '69 Z28 and open up the 4 barrel.

I disagree. Plug-in electrics may be made of the same materials (plastic, metal, etc), but they don't use up the same amount of natural resources to drive.

Better pick a stick and make a spear because you won't be buying food of any kind if you really don't use any of this products.
I never said I didn't use oil, or I wont use it. We could probably argue all day and both think we are correct so we can save our selfs that time. All energy systems have their drawbacks, even the most green ones.

With just the small things I do EVERYDAY in my house, I am reducing my carbon footprint MORE than you would by just getting rid of your car. Too microscopic IMO.

Again, I applaud your direction and respect your choice, but you are being very microscopic about the big issue.
Another great point.

Oil drilling on land not in the ocean? Agreed.

Agreed? As in... you are still ok with oil, but for some reason you feel at personal fault for this accident?

I don't have AC at home.

Then you are already doing your part!

Not really. He is from Montreal and he doesn't need A/C. He needs to turn the heat down to conserve

Sunspots are darker, cooler parts of the sun, resulting in less light hitting the earth, cooling it down, not warming it up. Magnetic energy from sunspots affect computers, satelites and electrical grids. They probably don't affect climate.

Are you arguing for or against here? I believe he said less sun spots = now = more heat = unlike normal. And the sun, my friend, does affect climate.
