Really from what I've read we got lucky with the timing of the moon landings as there was a very low level of solar activity, so not a ton of radiation being thrown through space. For trips to Mars we may need to figure out a way to shield the craft somehow, maybe a lead lining of some sort.

One thing I've learned is that those who believe the moon landing is a hoax will not change their mind and those that believe the moon landing was real will not change their mind.

And there are "facts" used to back up both sides.

In the end it is what makes you feel good.

I'm very into sci fi stuff...I have read ALOT on this subject and I saw this quite a while ago......according to these ppl it was supposed to happen in 84 and again in 93.....next is the myan calendar rolling over in 2012 (much like ours rolls over to the next year) so they decided to change to that. While it's a neat idea and would make for a good movie or something, these guys are just a bunch of conspiricy theorists.

Also, if you know these dates you can start investing in survival equipment and guns and probably end up making some money.

And while I'm thinking about this, since the world IS ending in 2012, anyone wishing to give away their belongings (world is ending, you won't need em!) can drop them off at my place!
