yup, i posted about that in the transformers thread of stuff you can get from toys to posters. it sells for 49.99 at RS but i can guarantee that you will be able to get it mucho cheaper after summer is over. case in point they have a very SWEET large scale Aston Martin DBS from Casino Royale that was over 50 and now it is 19.99 . I plan on getting the BB and Barracade R/C cars and their weapons kits when they mark them down . In fact my avatar is a picture of the xmod BB camaro but with the remote control removed via MS paint and then cropped to a square size and then reduced .

FYI being this is still a regular XMOD Evolution car (just has a different body shell and wheels). ALL of the the XMOD Evolution upgrades work on it, just a sample of stuff you can upgrade:

All Wheel Drive
Faster motors
Better suspension
Better tires
LED head and tailights (headlights light up when you go forward, brakes light up when you go from forward to reverse fast and stay lit while reversing )
Underside lights (similar to the Neon tubes some guys put under the 1/1 cars, but only run along the lower sides between the wheels).

I have 2 different XMOD cars, the series 1 cars that came out in 2004/2005, a Nissan Skyline GT-R upgraded with AWD, a faster motor, and a body kit . And a series 2 car AKA the Evolution which came out in 2006. Of the 2 I prefer the EVO cars as they are way easier to upgrade, the AWD conversion takes minutes on a EVO but took me an hour easy on the series 1 Skyline . another cool feature is you can get alternate body shells from the series 1 cars and they fit on the EVO chassis (comes with a series 1 body shell mounting tabs that can attach to the frame and the inside of the body shell). If any of you guys are considering getting the XMOD Bumble or Barricade, and you have any XMOD questions, feel free to ask me .

I would get one, except for the accessories issue. Radio Shack told me the Evolutions were to be the last XMods and started to clearance what they had left. (I have one original-series and two Evolution-series cars.) Then they wanted to get rid of all the accessories (ball bearings, all-wheel drive, etc.), so they had a huge clearance sale. All Evolution kits were $19.95 AND you got to pick any 3 accessories for free. Now there are no more kits or accessories in any local stores except for tires and wheels. I won't pay $50 for a model (I'll buy die-cast instead) and if I can't make it go faster, what good is it? Just like the real thing, it needs to be modded.

rick, i have 3 good friends that work at radio shack. and they told me that the 3 accessories deal only works with the clearance ones. but they are only clearancing the Scion TC and Nissan Titan truck EVOS. They are already planning on a new wave of EVO cars in the future. the TF movie cars are the first of the new wave. they do not know what make/models will be out in the future but i cannot wait.

So, when did your friends say those new XMods are coming out again??? Like I said, they were discontinuing the entire line. Even the Transformers cars got clearanced around here because nobody will buy a $50 R/C car if it is just a toy that can't be modified.
