Possible Production Date Change - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am not too sure if this has been mentioned yet, but...

First day of production is February 29th 2009, at 6:30am.
As of right now, they are building anywhere between 3-6 per day.

Do you have a source for this... I could have sworn it was going to be on the 16th. Maybe I read it wrong.

I'm guessing you meant 2009 but February 29, 2009 doesn't exist. Only 28 days in the month. And even if it did, it would be a sunday.

Ohh, what you heard, was that maybe the canadian pricing was supposed to be announced on November 16th?

Lucky for us, the announcement was early

so, it starts production on an imaginary day and they are making only 3-6 per day huh? so that means ill get mine around late 2014?

I think he meant that right now they are building 3-6/day for the pilot cars.

I am just passing along the information i heard from internal affairs!
its at the end of february regardless.

And as of right now, they are doing 3-6 per day.

thats still a saturda.y why would they start full production on a saturday? this information makes no sense.

My bet is that it will start now on March 2nd. 2 weeks after the originally noted date.

I heard or read somewhere, they were making 2 a week for the GM guys to test drive to find the last minute stuff to fix.

I understand that why start full production on a saturday... it makes no sense.
it also makes little sense that it would be on a saturday (overtime) (which was just banned), instead of a monday.

All im telling you, is that i heard it was the 28th of february.
