So you can still open the doors normally as well? Do you need to finetune the doors a lot? And you do not have to remove the doors at all? Sorry for all the questions and i DO like the car

I open the doors like before with the exception that they can't open as wide as before, about half the distance now which is plenty for me to get in and out.

The doors remain on the car, we unbolted the factory hinges and bolted the kit on. Then we fine tuned the doors which was very easy to do. There is a bolt that "stops" the doors from opening too wide and another that is adjusted to allow the door catch to match the striker.
The actual installatiuon and tuning of the kit is the easiest part. The pain is removing the lower rocker panel without breaking the clips (only broke 1 clip) and putting everything back together. We completed the entire install in about 6 hours (with breakes for some bugers & dogs!!).

Had my first show with the vertical door kit installed yesterday at the Sea Pirates Car Show in New Jersey.

Over 90 cars and we took People"s Choice- Top Winner. Had to dismantle the trophy in order to get it home!!!

For every day use I just open the door like before, I only lift the doors up at the car meets/shows.
So the doors will open all the way normally also? Or do the just open a couple inches?
