Everyone knows your nuts should not be in the trunk, they should normally be found under the DIC.
If they are in the trunk... 1) First, determine if the nuts are indeed, yours. 2) If they are NOT your nuts, STOP and go no further. Never touch someone else's nuts. If they are found to be your nuts, proceed. 3) Determine how your nuts got in the trunk to begin with. 5) Carefully get out of the trunk, nuts should come out with you. Note: Be careful as not to let the nuts scrape on the trunk lip upon removal. It could scratch the paint. Or worse. 6) Go open a beer and enjoy the moment that your nuts are out of the trunk. 7) Come back and post about how you retrieved your nuts on Camaro5.com

I scratched my paint trying to use a cloth-covered magnet to guide the nuts out. Just take it to your dealer.

Just done 5 minutes ago...Very easy...If you have the right tool
to remove the tabs makes it alot easier pulled of the insulation and then a washer fell in the trunk...Looked at the nuts in question and they were already loctited...I'm glad i red this thread...Thanks... |
