Unfortunately, I don't recall where I saw this, but some manufacturers are developing unibody truck designs.
Darn it I hate this part of getting old.

2009...that program may have been reopened since that article...when magazines or websites like that say they've "killed" something....it's usually for effect. GM more often "holds" a project, or "shelves" it...it lets them revisit the idea, rather than trashing everything.
