except the mods have made their opinion clear.... this is just another mustang vs camaro debate thread that will get out of hand. why would you choose to post it when there is not only a mustang MEGAthread where commonsense would tell you to look there first.....but there are multiple other mustang vs camaro threads on this page alone.

I'm not sure if that really counts or if the 2011 mustang will actually out preform the 2011 camaro but, i guess i am a little biased.
The 2011 Camaro wouldnt make a diff if anything the hud would add weight so stick with the 2010's

I bet if you put a new MK6 in the same review about muscle cars...it would win because "it's so comfortable and composed and has the interior of an Audi."...blah blah blah magazine company reviews FTL.
Just grow up guys just because you didnt win twice in a row doesnt mean your a crappy car. I didnt hear all of this biased BS from you last year when you won Just because the mustang is better for this year doesnt mean poop. so stop whining so much this biased BS really ticks me off when we lost in 2010 we accepted it maybe just maybe they are bored of the camaro I know I am sick of it

Funny how many Ford guys here. I am not brand loyal But I bet last year when the camaro was on top you did not have all the Ford guys blowing their own horns.

Nah I'm not whining...I was just stating a fact. Those big name Mag companies are some of the worst, most biased reviews out there. I know the Camaro is the heavier of the two and that the new 5.0 mustang is a force to be reckoned with and I'm not arguing the win that the Mustang took in this comparison...I'm simply trying to understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape when it comes time for reviews from big mag companies. I mean for God sake look at the most recent comparison by Car&Driver with the Evora, Corvette, and Carerra I believe...the Corvette stomped all over the other two but they ranked it second behind the Porsche for no apparant reason other than it being made by a German Automaker...All I'm saying is...if people honestly take to heart what these big companies say...then you are dilusional.

The mustang owners should just be happy that chev brought back the camaro, or the mustang would still be just a average car, their 6 was dead and the 8 nothing too brag about, At least when the new camaro`s came out they set a new standard in performance and fuel mileage, ford is doing just like the other brands now, just tried too better the camaro by a very short margine, In my opinion the for as long as the mustang was out it should be the hands down winner and it is not, with the new looks and for the few things they have done it is not enough too sway me too trade.
I personally like the 2009 body style better.

They had been working on the 5.0 since 2007 so they didn't just up it because of the Camaro sthough I think they did accelerate it to come out sooner.

You also have to keep in mind that the "decisions" are opinion based. The author(s) picks the car they prefer. The fastest, best handling car is not always the most enjoyable or desirable. If that were the case, the Viper ACR would be one of the overall best cars in the world. Me, I'd take the 599 or an lp650 . You just have to take the opinions of the mags for what they are; opinions. That's not to say whatever car they pick is the better car, but in their opinions it is.

I like all the cars...Camaro, Mustangs and Challys. I just happen to like the Camaro more cause I am a Chevy person.

If they did not re-make the Camaro I'd prolly have a Mustang or a Chally. I would not buy a ricer or a german car or some bland family wagon.

BTW my family wagon is a V8 Tahoe with all the bells and whistles. If I cant pass you in my family wagon then I wanna go over or thru you!!!

Also, its your money so who care what a magazine says. The cars are close enough in price and performance. Its not like one is over $40k and is a second slower (LOL did I just describe a challenger)

I have an idea! If it bothers you so much go out and test drive each one and make your own conclusion on which you like the most without biased My personal opinion is the challenger is the best daily driver the mustang wins in power and performance and the camaro wins in head turning looks.
