Father-in-law has basically the same car delivered 1 week earlier and is still impressed with his car's performance, and thinks I'm obsessed with spinning the tires which I am only to actually feel like I have a performance car and satisfy that curiosity. I have driven about every kind of rental car during my weekly travels and ouside of the Toyotas everything runs harder and feels quicker. At the rate we are going these tires should be good for 30,000 or better.

try a tune... tell dealer service manager (who is aware of this problem). tell him your gonna take it to a tune shop, have them take a look at everything, maybe there is something wrong... no a full tune, tell tuner to compare to other stock tables, maybe there is something out there......
are all spark plugs firing, etc etc.. a tuner can check it out for you easily.. imho

Camaro Spike 23,

Just on the brakes enough to keep it from moving forward. Had the TC & SC off. I have DT shorties & Manaflow Cat Back and Cold Air Induction.

Are both T/c and S/C lights are on the glare shield before burnout attempt.Sometime you have to hold the TC/SC button awhile before both light will illuminate, and smoke'em up.

less2010,

Yes both are on, I found that if you hold the button down 5 or 6 seconds they both come on. I'm going to put the hammer down on it this weekend once the rain stops.

No problem here lighting them up and I'm all stock. I just turn off stabiltrac and tc by holding down the special button. You should definitely be able to smoke em.

No Spinnage

Mine won't really smoke em either like i think it should.
Manual Mode
T/C and Stabilitrak off
On good dry pavement
Must hold breaks and wait for both tires to spin
Once spinning start to let off brakes
Then spinning quickly peters out and my engine lags for a bit then it goes... kinda

I've done a fuse pull which helped but still not like I expect.
I can BARELY spin tires in a turn while in 1st or 2nd at 3.5k-4.5k rpms
Suggestions?

No, it sounds like you're easing into the throttle. If you want to spin the tire do this:
1-Push brake in hard all the way
2-Mash the dam gas pedal to the floor and let of brakes at the same time
