Couple questions on a 2011

Hi guys, I plan on ordering a 2LT/RS manual in a couple months and had a couple questions on the 2011 Camaro.

1. Can the passenger seat be adjusted vertically now?

2. This will be my first manual car and I was thinking about getting the Hurst short throw shifter from the factory. Just wanted some thoughts on the stock shifter vs the Hurst.

Thanks!

1. I doubt it
2. I went with the Barton as my Hurst was noisy in my 02

No on quesiton 1

You can deffinitely feel the difference with the Hurst. Shorter and feels (IMO) a bit crisper.

So far, they are only showing the Hurst shifter available on the SS.

I would just buy the Hurst shifter and install it myself. You will pay GM a lot more for the option than just buying the shifter yourself.

Those of us that have the Hurst shifter have the aftermarket version. I believe the factory Hurst unit is different.

If this is true then I guess there's no point in me agonizing over it... although I was leaning towards the Hurst. One reason I wanted it is because the factory version is different from the aftermarket one.
