Thank you for your order shipment inquiry. After checking the details with our
manufacturing partner, we have confirmed that the HydraShield is usually shipped
along with the Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake System. The items are normally
packaged together in the same box. "

And i ordered from autoanything.com
Edit - my bad turns out my hydroshield was on the box. the packaging clearly says hydroshield and in very small print say a "pre filter". Sounds injen may have placed the hydroshield in the box for a limited time as a promo.

Can someone post the pics for the hydro shield and the pre-filter please. TIA

Received conformation I'll be getting my Injen & Flowmaster both on Monday, I ordered on Tuesday. Not only did Autoanything give me a good price but good service. I don't know when I'll have time to install them as I will be busy all week & out of town next weekend:bangdesk:. If I get motivated enough I might have to install these at night.

Once you recieve it, it will kill you to get them installed. I have a suggestion for you. It is better to have a muffler shop install the Flowmasters. That way they will weld them on instead of being bolted on. A few guys that I know did it there self and bolted theres on and they had to retighten them ever so often. If you weld them, you won't have to worry about that. Enjoy!!!

Yeah when it comes to mods I don't have much patience. Thanks for the tip. I was going to install the FM's myself but its probally a good idea to just get them welded on.

Installed the Injen CAI Friday night, took it out today and all I can say is I LIKE!!!!!!! Sounds deeper (stock exhaust) and my dynobutt says . Did a Dyno earlier this year, will have to get one done and see if there is a +/-.

So can everyone agree that the sound is deeper? What about adding some snarl...burble..or whatever you wanna call it...to the exhaust note? Anyone notice a difference in that?

Thats something I'd love to have a bit more of with my setup.

My son-in-law installed my Injen CAI in just over an hour....it looks AWESOME. He did remove the front left tire as it is a 20" incher. No battery disconnect and no dash board warnings....it sounds great...though I have yet to feel any power increase....I have noticed a better engine sound. I did let him test drive it and he squeeled the tires. My ole butt dyno is uncalibrated and needs maintainence...(uncalibrated not inconstinate) Only a few days after install and I haven't really punched it and let her fly yet....but I will soon. I'll also keep an eye on my gas milage and let ya'all know of any improvement or degradation.
2010 V6 Camaro.....and I love her!

Wow! The rebate check from Injen beat the actual product! Just got the mail out of the mailbox and found the rebate check. That's the quickest rebate ever!

UPS web site says my CAI is out for delivery, so it should be here today too. Hopefully I'll have time this evening to install it. If not, I'll have to wait till Wednesday or later.

It changed the tone of mine considerably since i have the unresonated x-pipe. mine got deeper after the install and really makes the engine roar at WOT.

Does the hydro shield really block water well? I live in Washington state, Tacoma to be exact and it rains a lot there or at least it has a constant dizzle.... and i don't want my engine to lock up on me.

I would say, for places that rain a lot and for ease of mind if you are that worried about it, I'd probably go with the airraid v2.

i would say you would be fine unless you drove into a puddle 2 feet deep.

however, like poorman said.. go air raid v2 if youre worried about it.
