San Jose, California guy has the same issue. Only our temperatures drop into the high 40s.

Why WOULDN'T you want it to be a DD ^_^ This car was meant to be driven daily. No reason to keep this sucker in your garage, better served out in public.

I DD mine...wasn't the plan originally but I just can't seem to leave it parked I usually have a garage queen and intended for the Camaro to just pull weekend/occasional duty but it is sooo nice to drive I changed my mind and made it my primary driver. It makes driving to work more than just a mundane waste of time..more like an enjoyable activity before work.

I've got almost 17K on mine now and no problems yet. I did get my first rock chip on the front of my hood this week.

I guess thats why i never drive my firebird in the michigan winters. That and it just seems wrong to drive it in the snow.

I had a 1979 Trans Am in high school. The weight difference between the back and front made very entertaining to drive on anything but dry streets. Every winter I would keep about 200 pounds of horse oats in the trunk just to help it handle a little better when the weather got bad.

If I still had that car it would only see clear sunny days.

Mine is driven from rural county roads to city streets almost an hour one way to & from work 5 days a week & around 3 countys on weekends. Only had her a few months & already had the first oil change. No complaints. Love my comute now! So much fun to drive. Only a few paint chips but even this improved since adding splach guards.
Buy, drive, enjoy! Don't keep your baby imprisoned in a garage.

I drove my LS1 Camaro everyday for 10 years and it was a fine machine for the most part. I'm sure the new ones stand up even better.
