New K&N aircharger installed

Installed (45 minute easy bolt on) my new k&n aircharger on my 1lt yesterday..WOW...what a growl from the engine bay now, realy wakes up the stock exhaust note and nice growl from engine.
Il post pics later today....
Price was harsh up here in canada but well worth it.
Funny thing is k&n gives you a card inside the box, basically it says `` If your dealer gives you any trouble saying that the intake voids warranty call us immediately we will contact them and settle the issue``

Interesting.

can you take a pic looking forward from under the hood? kinda pointing toward where the stock airbox snorkel goes / infront of the K&N filter / behind the headlight area. Does this kit use the factory snorkel?

I removed the factory snorkel when i did my install....cant see it staying there since there is no coupling for it on the k&n intake...

What made you decide to go with K&N instead of some of the others with the fancy enclosures, etc....

If it doesn't have the snorkel to breath..where does it get the air . Is the bottom opened?
