Ivan finally got an estimate on his car to get repaired. Allstate took its sweet ol' time.

Now, the Car Crafters mending can begin. A few days for parts, a day or two doing the body work, paint, re-assembly, and, finally, back into the hands of Ivan the Terrible!

Hopefully mid-next week. I'll try to take some pictures during the mending process.

Enjoy!

Curt

Thats great news Ivan, glad to here you wont be without your wheels for long.
Car crafters is gonna do a bang up (sorry pun was intended) job on it.
i'm sure it's gonna look as good as new.
Also just a thought, maybe you should bring it to the track Friday night,
just think how good your times would be without all those parts on it just weighing you down.

If I was worth a damn on a computer I would have put you in the passenger seat
with a look of horror on your face. That would have made it more realistic. lol

So Ivan....what goodies are you adding to the car? I also think you need to change your call sign to Ivan the Terrible in lieu of Bad Karma....Bad Karma is just asking for trouble!
Thought I would put a post here about the T-Shirts. Doing Camaro5 T-Shirts to match our cars. Email me the color of shirt, size, color of imprinting, your email address and of course your name and how many you want. They will have the logo on the front left chest and the back of the shirt! CAMARO5.COM with Albuquerque, NM below. Let me know. Bethgrce@aol.com or Beth@achievementgallery.com I want to order these tomorrow!!! $18.64 plus tax each!

Status of Ivan's SS:

Estimate finally written. Allstate took their time.
Parts are ordered. Should be at Car Crafters on Monday.
Work will begin soon thereafter.
Hopefully a few days of mending.
Depending upon what Ivan wants to do with paint and custom fender work, should be back on the road toward the end of next week.

I'll post pictures of the mending process as it goes along.

Enjoy!

Curt

It's gonna be Pink with IOM Transformers style strips that run down to the edge of the bumpers, I'm going to see if the guys can put that badass 70's style Mohair on the headliner inside the car, so it'll have that "Cozy" feel to it, perhaps I'll see about powdercoating the 20's in a matching Yellow or green to offset the sweet ass stripes.

Then after that, I'm going to install those flamethrowing deals in my exhaust pipes.

It's going to ROCK!

LMAO....

Seriously folks, Ivan's not kidding. He put in his order this AM.

A Guy Fairy Tale

This fairy tale brings tears to my eyes . Enjoy! Curt

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess...
"Will you marry me?"

The Princess said "NO!"

And the Prince lived happily ever after and drove Camaros and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf and dated women half his age and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and belched and farted and watched action movies whenever he wanted.

The End
