It's not just that. The F1R produces a ton of heat compared to a F1-C or A.Some people go with a F2 instead for inlet temps if the racing class will allow it.

I'm guessing this car is a race car. Here is a trick we use to do to own the racing classes.Instead of spinning the crap out of the blowers we would run the motors at 11-1 static compression.Couple that with the right Cam and the cars would make awesome power across the whole rev range. It also cut's down the inlet temps a bit but we ran big ice boxes in the cars.

Actually this will be driven on the street as well. I want a car I can pull out of my garage and drive to the track and run it. Of course it will also be used for racing only and be setup for the track at those times.

I thought i was crazy! LOL.We run a fr1 at 10.3 to hold the GTO 1/4 mile record 8.95@154 at 4000lbs..This looks like a great car for our 9 inch IRS drivetrain solution available to a select few very soon

Said that he was doing a paper trace and some dimensions for you for the top mounts. Didn't want to show them to me until they are in.

Anyway, this latest build of Jasons is going to be kick-butt..

I could definitely use some help....LOL You should come down sometime when we have an open track day. I will be starting a new build thread as soon as I get the car to CincySpeed. It should be interesting and will finally meet my power requirements. This is what I love about this hobby is you can never stop learning and this project has been trial and error and now I think I have it figured out as this combo should really turn some huge HP and show it in the 1/4 mile times.
