I get a slight milky glass effect and it goes away when warmed up.

Mine stays in a garage and comes out to a colder temp and I do not have this issue. IMO you have a defective radio display.

I have had this happen a couple of time on humid days when I first get in and crank the AC. My vents dont point down towards the head unit however. So has anyone gotten a dealer to replace the head unit because of this?

Happened to me for the first time and I noticed the AC vent was pointed down. I moved it up and the problem went away.

Only once that I've noticed. It was on a pretty warm and humid day so I had the AC cranked up. Maybe a leak in the center dash vent ducting causing condensation on the radio face plate?

That's moisture in behind the display. Take it to the dealer as soon as you see it happening...don't use the ventilation at all while you drive there, either.

I love how scratched up the head unit is and I have never cleaned the interior! I only have 1,800 miles on the car.

anyone else have this problem?
yes but it seems to go away after awhile. I live in Houston so there is alot of humidity.

If they already have a dealer notice out for it, which they do -- they know about it and have developed both a repair and a factory alteration to prevent it on future cars.
