That sounds familiar ...a little bit nastier than mine due to the X-pipe you're running.

I highly doubt that these will pass smog since you can't even move the cats half an inch...but if it only takes an hour and a half to replace...

It would pass smog just not the visual in Cali.

It only takes 30 minutes to swap them out and install the factory mids. No smog for five years on a new vehicle.

It took me an hour and a half...

...jacking the car up, unbolting the stock midpipes from the stock flanges, unbolting the factory mid-pipe coupler clamps, loosening the electrical connectors on the oxygen sensors, transferring the oxygen sensors over to the new midpipes etc....

So if you live in the "great" state of California and you plan on swaping these out at smog time why wouldnt one just buy the ADM off road down pipes. They are $100 cheaper and ... I dont know the answer to this... but wouldnt one assume they would give even more HP because they are just straight pipes?

This brings me to another question that maybe some car expert here has an answer to. If you look at the Solo cats they are quoting 22 HP gains and ADM is stating only 18 HP from their down pipes. How can this be? Do these cars need some kind of back pressure??

adm off road pipes throw a code and have to get a tune for them not to. the catted mid pipes are a good solution if you want to run the stock tune.

and you really cant go off of companies "claim" of HP gains. 3rd party independant testing is the only way or dyno yourself before and after.
