Bummer. I understand why you're doing moving the event. However, next year is the only year in the next 5 years that I would be able to attend (due to job constraints). I arranged to have time off in April next year and I really wanted to drive my Camaro to C5 fest. But, I can't go all the way to the west coast.

Like I said, I understand. But, for purely selfish reasons, I was really hoping it would have been in the same place as this year.

I am REALLY dissapointed to hear this. I had a great time last year and would have gone again for sure. Is it worth 5000 mile round trip, the cost in fuel, lodging and food to get there, the wear and tear on the car, a week off work???... I don't think so.

I mean, don't get me wrong, i had a wonderful time this past April but the west coast is just too damn far.

Maybe 2012...

Oh and I think you guys are making a HUGE mistake. Maybe I will be wrong but I doubt it.

If you are not satisifed in 2011 you will be in 2012.

We don't all live on the east coast or midwest. Just keep an open mind for the rest of the Camaro5 community.

I agree with what has been said before that if you do have C5F2 "west coast-ish" that we're all going to be surprised at how many East coast brothers and sisters make the long drive for the fest because they had a taste last year. With that said I'd also say that after C5 Fest 2011 if C5 Fest 2012 was on the East coast again that same thing many of the West Coast guys will be more willing to make the drive since they've also had a taste of the fest. Just saying you can't appease everyone mods and we don't expect you to. Hell we should all be grateful that the first C5 Fest was such a big hit that we get to have a second one. Gotta love this family guys!!

That's because it all started as just a "local" event in GA. It then snowballed and became the C5Fest. I wouldn't be surprised to see another "local" event in the East or Midwest next year. All they need is a hotel, track, a few vendors and some motivated people. Lots of those on this website.

I agree with having a new location to keep the excitement up. I probably wouldn't go back if it were in Valdosta again. Been there, done that! Guess some people like repeat events, I don't.

Now Vegas, that could be fun.
