I was lucky when I found my SS loaded with everything (but GFX) and decided to use my divorce settlement on her. ![]() Even for the LT though, I would have done whatever I could to get it and pay for her.... I had no trouble knowing I wanted this car and being determined to get it ![]() I'm lucky to have found (and been able to afford) my loaded SS but, I would still have an awesome car even if I'd gotten the LT. I think you should go for what you want if you can afford it - if there are options you can live without then consider nixing them to save a little. |

[QUOTE=Rob_63;2016629].... I couldn't justify spending 8 - 10K more for the SS (although they are a SWEET car).
The V-6 has plenty of nuts for me and not having the higher insurance and the added expense of premium fuel is more cost efficient. Now I will say I wish I would have at least gotten the lt or 2lt package, my wifes leather interior, connectivity package, remote starter, heated seats, etc... sure would be great in the Camaro. Imo, just test drive both, and see which you like =p Obviously I think there are lots of Biased opinions. SS owners would recommend SS, lol... I own 1LT, but that doesn't mean I'd recommend you the V6 instead. If I had the cash, I would get SS i think lol.
But few things to keep in mind, V8 is more gas money, more insurance. In return you get an SS! Power, and a true Muscle Car Really depends what you are going for. Goodluck =D

The ss for me every 6 months would be little over 500 bucks. I have been working with a dealer for a base ss and a lt with the manual and ba sound system. I def have to have the ba sound system . So I won't have to mess with it in that area
