Can't go wrong with the M6! I can't get enough of driving my 2SS everyday, what a great rendering of a classic car! I love just throwing people back in my seat and showing them the power of a 6.2L

I have a 2LT automatic, and I love my car. Don't regret getting the V6 at all...but I do kind of wish I'd have gone for the manual.

Simple until you have to park, or you're on a hill.

Autos are faster, safer and cheaper. Paddleshift is enough fun for me. I'm not a high school kid trying to impress anyone.

No, your not nuts. I get the same calm almost xen feeling in the Camaro. Its fun to play but, its better to just cruise and enjoy.

I'm the complete opposite in the Toyota. I feel axious, stressed.

Of course the Toyota does rush our. The Camaro does not.

well your got some wrong there buddy... the manual camaro is faster 1/4 mile . if you were to race a manual camaro 60 -140 the manual would for sure win.

the auto is a little more weight and more money... the manual is the standard option. idk were you get your facts from

only "paddle shifters" are faster then manuals... you do not have paddles shifter
you have a M mode... porsche and lambos have paddles shifters.

i would have gotin a camaro in paddle shifters over a manual any day... but they do not come in (duel clutch paddle shifters)

the stick is worth it!

I went from a 2010 Camaro 2SS auto to a 2011 Camaro 2SS with M6 and what a difference!! I couldn't take the auto any longer and ordered a manual. I bought the same car except this one has a stick. Even stayed with the same interior and exterior. But they are two totally different cars. I only put 2100 miles on the 2010 SS in a year , but I think the 2011 will pile up the miles

I think it's not much about impressing anyone just nice to feel your car and shift your own gears, also takes some skill. instead of "press and go"
To the OP Did you make the user name after you had the car or before? lol
.....Burned clutches? An auto transmission will probably never have to be replaced, but a manual...haha good luck.

What?

My car has paddle shifters.... If you're actually going to argue technicality of paddle shifters to me then

ANd it's faster when a pro is driving it. Every run in on the highway I have had with LS3 I have won. Sure the LS3 has 26 more horsepower, but it requires the driver to be almost as good at shifting as the computer, which is pretty rare in your average joe and with a simple dyno tune the L99 will beat even a pro driver in the LS3.

Tuned L99 > tuned LS3.

And auto will always be easier, faster and cheaper in the long run.

ok maybe thats true but has yet to be proven.... but i really want to make sure you realize that your paddle shifters are different then a lambos paddle shifters.
