I think this is the single most poorly designed part of my car. I had a Colorado before this and the A/C would freeze me out on a low fan setting. The Camaro on high fan is annoying and doesn't produce much more than noise at temps over 95.

I like the ability to use the mix setting between floor and dash vents, this setting on the Camaro is like turning it off...it does nothing but let out cold air with no force.

The windsheild will fog over on the outside on a warm morning to the point of having to run the wipers to see. It's like the defoster vents never turn off.

I am making a dealer appointment to coincide with my first oil change this week. Maybe it's just a new charge or computer update to fix it, I am hopeful that they can satisfy the issue.

If you turn on the recirc, you'd think you were in the north pole. But that's me.

There's a TSB out there for A/C not being cold enough - you might want to check that out.

Mine is not working at the moment. Tried it for the first time this year a few weeks ago and got nuttin but room temp air. Can tell the compressor is not coming on. I'll have to get it fixed eventually but I'll live without it for the time being. Hate the thought of taking it to a dealership service dept.

We've been experiencing 100+ degree days here for the past few weeks, and I have my A/C with recirculate on a fairly low setting... I freeze my ass off if I turn it way up...so, no issues here.

My AC will freeze me out if I have it set to blowing straight ahead (dash) and recirculating air. However, my AC barely seems to work if I have it set to blowing both on the floor and dash - is this normal?? I can have it on max fan and when it is set to dash/floor mix I can barely feel it blowing on me (which is fine when the car is already cool but useless when it is 100+ out in Texas).

Same. However in this Texas heat, it does take longer to "get going" but once it actually cools it keeps the car nice and cool.

Almost 8,000 miles and my Camaro is perfect.

Hey my air works great here in Arkansas.
the HUD on my 2011 2 SS has been 90+ degrees for the past few days and no problem with the air. I usually only turn the fan up halfway and end up turning it lower. Great car!
