I cannot even imagine what the Pedders Camaro can do with R compound racing tires!

Blow up the LS3 from oil starvation in high G load turns. We would have to go fuill dry sump to run slicks

Broke my output shaft july 05/2010. vin 9701. Warranty tranny replacement is in the works with no problems

Did you hear a big bang when it went? It sounded like a 12 gage going off in the cabin when mine went. Also - Did yours blow out the bottom of the transmission casing? The ones I heard about in the past blew out the bottom of the tranny. Mine did not.

No, it didn't get the casing but it was loud. Still just wondering if it has happened more than once to somebody. I haven't been keeping up with all of the posts. They are putting in a whole new trans. Am I gonna still have the same problem or will the new trans tailshaft be beefed up?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. This has been a limited issue. We just took ours out and beat it hard again with a number of GM executives watching or in the car as passengers for hot laps. My tranny is solid, but after yesterday I may need new rotors and tires.
