I refuse to take my Camaro to Wallmart or any other shopping endeaver if possible. I do do small quick stops and usually like to keep it in sight, or not out of sight for more than a few minutes.

I went to the Wallmart in Vista, Ca yesterday and saw a black with red stripes SS parked right in the thick of the cars. He also had the ground effects package on it. Hopefully he had no issues.

Start being more vigilant on where you park your car,too bad you have to drive around doing "recon" and acting like "black ops" because of jealous/haters............................................ ....................sucks

yep it is sad. im gonna stop driving it as my daily driver if at all possible lol. but all i have to drive is a 4 cyl gmc sonoma and it has no power. i was more upset that some ignorant envious teenager would ram a cart into my car than i was that my car was dented

what's worse is going into a walmart at 3am in a town where everyone is related..... you wanna talk about a fun house..... I swear the express lane there was 12 teeth or less only.

Nice!

How do you know the toothbrush was invented in Mississippi?

'Cos if it were invented anywhere else it would have been called the TEETHbrush!

As for vandalism, I just try to be careful about where I park and who I park next to.
One thing I NEVER do is park on a diagonal taking up two spaces. I know we all want to protect our cars but doing that kind of thing is just asking for your car to be keyed. I just try to park away from other cars but in a very visible area.

Highly visible and get one side up against a curb. As someone else said in a different thread, it reduces your chance of incident by 50%! We live by this rule and have had zero issues so far. Wife takes her car EVERYWHERE. Walmart, best buy, barnes and noble, flea markets etc. Park smart.

Idiots are everywhere. I'll be damned if we arent gonna drive our car for fear of someone doing something to it. It was bought to be enjoyed, and to us that means used. There are threads on here of guys getting their cars shot at and bricks thru windows when their vehicles are SITTING IN THEIR DRIVEWAYS. Crap happens, morons are out there, lightning strikes and condoms are officially only 99% effective. Enjoy your car!

woohoo going to Wal-Mart at 2am! Damn I love working nights when most idiots are asleep or at the bar still.

Sorry to hear about everyone's misery at Wal-Mart though. Hope it all works out for everyone.

Now that makes me sick to my stomach! Idiots I tell ya! I been to wal-mart once in my Camaro.... it was to me up with other Camaros for a meet and greet, and we left after being there for like 15 minutes. I drive my Acura to places like that and I still park that a long ways away.

Good Luck with everything and I hope they smash the bastages that did that, unappreciative M%$^&(ERS...sorry stuff like this erks me

I can relate... I got paint chips too from that damn semi!!! .... i think the whole convoy was shifting lanes from it.

Most people don't give a flying f$#k about our cars. They do not think about them and they are not careful near them because cars are not an important thing to them like they are to us. I find it hard to believe that there is a group of people out there that are dedicated to vandalizing our cars. I think that people just are not very careful of other people's cars. Having said that, there are two things that I never ever take to the mall or to Wallmart. My Camaro SS and my Harley. I have an older Buick that I use on snowy days and parking lots. Sorry about your car, I've been there with my bright red 87 V-8 sports coupe. I wreaked havok on the offender's car and got severely criticized by the calmer people on this site.

Not only did she have the audacity to not give a crap about the other persons SUV, but after emptying her cart, she left it against that Caddy! I wrote down the plate, make, model, driver description, and made sure she knew the owner of the Caddy was going to be informed of her STUPIDNESS...

She simply didn't care. Yes, the owner of the Caddy was given all the info.
If only everyone was like you my friend. If I saw that I would do the same thing. If that was my Escalade I would would appreciate a good samaritan like that.

Who does crap like that! I mean they actually had enough balls to do that in a HUGE public parking lot. Wow those kids are either stupid as can be or have no fear of getting in trouble. They actually had enough time to get out of their truck and position the cart onto the truck's front bumper and RAM it into a parked car . That just flabergasts me. And don't tell me know one saw that in the lot. That is drawing attention like no other. Unless you were WAY WAY WAY out of sight. I don't know what sucks more : the fact that they did that, or the fact that no one bothered to call it in. I may be in denial here, But I still think someone had to have seen that! That is why my camaro NEVER sees a parking lot, I have a 95 Jeep YJ as my DD and it serves it's purpose.

My car is like a child to me, I worked a long time and saved a lot to put a nice down payment on it. It is my most prized possession (aside from my g/f ) and I'll be damned if some jealous lowlife will damage it. To me it is not just a car, It is a HUGE deal for me and 45k isn't "cheap" to me. Unless a person has absolute trust in their community, then go ahead and take the chance, every week there are stories like this posted up and that just makes me appreciate my storage shed and Jeep a little more

Keep us posted TC on what happens to those shitheads
