Speaking of rock chips/replacing windshields, has anyone had to do this yet? I noticed there really isn't an external raised rubber seal on the outside of the windshield (as in you can see the edges of the glass). I wonder if your average glass shop would replace it the same way - I just replaced a windshield on my Altima and it seemed like they used a similar rubber seal.

Ugh... I'm dreading the day it happens. I haven't parked in enough lots to really worry, though there was one time at Chipotles that I parked and this BIG ASS truck (one of those F-350's or whatever the biggest model is) tried backing in next to my car with less than a full space to do it. The female driver knowing she was about to crush my car after having tried to back up three different times was smart enough to drive to a different part of the lot.

I think she travelled to my Chipotle's too...LOL I came out to find a hugeass friggen truck parked next to my car once and I was ripsht - there were tons of other spots - and they parked right ontop of me with barely room for me to get in - they are lucky they didn't put a mark on my car- I was prepared to wait for them....

I was going to suggest the paintless dent removal as well....with it's location, it should be a pretty easy fix.

Either way, you will still know it was there, and your eyes will always go right to it....but, go ahead and get it fixed to make it easier to "get over".

But yes, there should be ways of getting that out. It's the gouges through the paint and into the metal that I'm really worried about.

It could have been worse, I watched a large woman fling open the passenger door of her POS into my driver side fender....Now I understand why people kill other people.

A lot of them are glued in place now.

The first one is the worst, especially when you didn't do it yourself or it wasn't from daily driving.

I'm not quite over mine. I had it fixed but I still 'see' it every time I look at the car.

Try the dent removal, good luck with that.

Strange

I have a dent on mine where I put the red circle on yours. I noticed it the second day I had the car. I have no clue how that could happen.

Wow! That looks like a huge impact crater. It's almost as if a meteor came screaming out of space and zeroed in on your Camaro. Lucky it hit your Camaro or all life on earth could have went extinct.

I am not going to get the door jamb repainted and I still love the car.
My wedding ring (the diamond) has scratched up the door above and under the door handle. A rake fell over in the garage and the tines scratched the door....And I don't plan on having the door repainted any time soon. The flaws just give it character, I don't like it, but I can live with it.

dude, i feel your pain,

i had a nice crease in my passenger front wheel well arch.

i was sick about it, and worse i had to confront my tuner ..cause he did it on the s/c package install.

i called a guy , called dent medic. He came out looked at it.

said for 50 bucks cash i'll never know it was there. 20 minutes and 50 bucks later
It was 99.9999% gone. only the memory remains.
This guy had mirrors and alignment tool all sorts of strange looking intruments.

You car looks great. i know its hard but just keep it clean like that and soon you will forget or get used to it...after 4 days i was used to mine.
i almost didn't do it for fear of making it worse. i got lucky!

and i never told the tuner. you know they hate whining, ( even though i had every right to) i'll bet there is a dentman or something in your area. ask around.

That looks as though a suction pull would do it!

I say if it bothers you , find a dent medic or dent removal....i think your looking at 75 bucks and no more stomach aches!!

I was so Pissed off. but now its gone. really mine came out 100%.....you can't see jack from any angle.

Look into it. i beleive you can have a dent free car for years. So long as you are always with the car!!
