One of the many benefits to a turbo system is the fact that the factory exhaust manifolds work extremely well so there's no need to spend an extra $1,000 or so on exhaust.

Shorties should fit as well, giving more flow? And possibly a better spool time if ceramic coated.

i know i am tad bit off topic, but is there a good cam for a turbo..that gives it lets say better bottom and more hp up top...i love the cammed engine sound...how radical a cam can be run with a turbo, without sacrificing streetability too much

You will lose the cammed engine sound if you do a turbo. Something to consider if you want both.

Well I dont mind not having the cam sound with my turbo. I like my car not loud but fast, all i want to hear is my turbo on boost and my blow off valve going off when I shift or let off the gas. Dont cams make gas mpg go down anyways?

A good "Turbo" cam (We have tried about 17 different versions at this point and only go with one now) will still sound like a n/a cam car at idle and then the turbos take over once you wind it out. I have a TT 427 Vette here that I can take a quick idle vid to demonstrate
