Don't act like your argument is based on the fact that they are ugly. You were talking about how they're spoiled rich people. They have more money than you because, 9 times out of 10, they work harder than you, or went to school longer than you.

I would not say 9 out of 10 maybe 5 out of 10. I know personally from having worked in banking, so many people get inheritances or win jackpots then blow it in less than a year buying cars like this. Anyhow why should anyone be envious of another, live your life make the best of it and try your hardest. If you don't get there you still had a hell of a ride. Enjoy it, if things went wrong you only have yourself to blame not the other guy. Lastly this whole us against them mentality is what leads to a two class system the have's and have-nots this country has always had the largest middle class of any country lets not mess it up. I don't care what car is next to mine, all I know is I Love mine.

If you never give the car a little gas, you should give the car back. It's a musclecar, and it's meant to be enjoyed as such. Plus it sounds like you're enjoying it in a controlled manner, so carry on!

To the OP you were street racing until you let off the throttle. No matter how you choose to look at it.
What is all the hate for exotics about? There are some Camaros out there with enough mods to be around the Exotic price range.... Here is a working Mans car: ![]() 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger Convertible 426/425 HP V-8 , 3-Speed Automatic Sold for $750,000 at Mecum Stop hating, judging, and lying to your self.

I've read the comments from everyone, and can see both sides, and as someone else already stated we are only human.
I am not rich, and not poor either. I, like eveyone else on this forum work hard for what we have. Getting my 2011 Camaro was one of those things. I had been working a second job (20 hrs per week ) while still holding down a fulltime job for over two years to afford a big down payment. Getting my Camaro was worth the extra work, and the wife said it was ok so why not, right? I had my car two days when someone where I work says "what makes you so special to afford a car like that, and you are getting paid too much." I, and others where I work have not had a raise in 4 years as I work for a community college, and like everyone else we have budget issues. I calmly told the person that they too can have a nicer car if they worked 2,100 extra hours for two years straight and saved for it like I did. People are jealous of what others have, and will tend to blame everyone else for their lack of what they have, except themselves. Every thing we do in life is a choice, some good, and some bad. We have to take responsibility for the choices we have made, and try not to blame others as we are the ones that made the choice. But then again, it is only human nature to blame others and not ourselves. Just my two cents for what its worth.

LOL...sorry but I get tired of all the soap boxes that get brought out when someone talks about racing or hauling ass. I've had mine up to 126mph on I-95 and do plan on hitting the 155mph. But ya know what, it was about 1:00am in the morning and I was on a stretch of interstate and there was NO ONE around me. If something had gone wrong the only person that would have been affected was me. So you can play around on the streets if you use a little common sense and pick the right time.
